graduation layout (throwback thursday challenge)

my nephew graduated kindergarten a couple of weeks ago and i did this layout for him. i'll be sticking it in a scrapbook frame and giving it to my sister to hang in his bedroom. had to block out his identifying info just to be on the safe side. this page was a lot of fun. i really like how the gypsy allows me to weld letters together. the word "graduation" was already an image on the calligraphy collection cricut cartridge, but i had to weld the letters for "kindergarten." i cut up two pieces of graduation paper to make the background and used the remaining pieces to make a similar page to give to the proud grandma. finally learning to actually USE my scraps in scrapbooking. :)
